Mental Wellness in Organisations in Conference Proceedings

The Global Wellness Institute (2020) defines mental wellness as a resource and process. As a resource, it can help us think, feel, connect, and function, and as a process, it helps us build resilience, develop, and flourish as individuals, groups, and organisations. Thus, in the current period of crisis, it is becoming increasingly clear that excellent business strategy, excellent leaders, excellent experts and excellent resources will need to be accompanied by mental wellness to more easily achieve business resilience and business flourishing. The kind of business flourishment that leads to “arbejdsglæde” as they call it in Denmark: not just to job satisfaction, but to “joy of working”.
